what you will learn ✅ how to f ind a specific wire payment ✅ how to d rill down to see details about that payment if you are new to wires we recommend you read about wires docid\ hfnmqa22w2bnqajijpavt before starting this tutorial before you begin make sure you have cos explorer identifying information about the payment, such as the reference id (received when you send the payment) date sent recipient name amount process overview after a payment is sent, you often want to see details about it such as its status use the cos filters to find the payment, and click it to see more details to find a payment to find a payment go to wire search under wires if you have the reference id ( ref id ) of the payment, enter it in the appropriate field in the filter pane on the right change the date in the from field to some date before when the payment was sent click the calendar icon a calendar opens if you need a date in the month that appears, click that date otherwise, click the name and year of the month a table of years appears select the year you need a table of months appears select the month you need a table of dates appears select the date the field updates if you only change the year or the month the changes will not be applied you can also select and type the date without going into the calendar check all other fields to be sure they are set as you need for example, check the status if you don't have the reference id, add information in any other fields that will help you find the payment at the very bottom of the filter pane, click search the results appear if you get no results, verify the date span is big enough to include the payment you are looking for if you still get no results, verify that the other information is correct if you searched on other values and not the exact reference id, you'll have to look at all the payments returned by the search to identify the one you want use more details in the filter to refine your search to view payment details in the search results, click the ref id the wire details screen opens scroll down the page to see specific information about the wire such as wires holds what happens next the payment tasks menu on the side of the wire details screen offers options for viewing various information surround the payment such as view fed wire message view webhooks
