## Before you begin

Make sure you have:

- [COS Explorer access](docId\:JwSEUG3ELF_gXLhy6T9KI) 

## Process overview

Only a payment in hold status can be cancelled.

## To cancel a wire

After finding the payment (see [to find a payment](docId\:kw9NunIkqkD9iJvxRCGu9)) which must be in **Hold** status, click the **Cancel **in the **Payment Tasks** pane on the right side of the screen.
