Find a card token

Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- Identifying information about the card token, such as:
- Card token ID
- Cardholder first or last name
- Your partner name in COS
- The COS account product name
- Transaction status
- Card brand
Process overview
Once a card token is created, you can use COS Explorer filters to search for a specific token. Once you've found the token, you can view the token itself as well as information about the card and the cardholder, and see data about transactions performed with that token.
To find a card token
To find a card token go to Card Tokens under Card Payments.
If you have the card token ID, enter it in the Navigate by ID ... field in the filter pane on the right and click the arrow. If the ID is correct, the Card Token Details screen for that card token appears.
If you don't have the card token ID, add information in any other fields that will help you find the payment.
Change the date in the From field to some date before the token was created.
At the very bottom of the filter pane, click Apply. The results appear.
If you get no results, verify the date span is big enough to include the payment you are looking for.
If you still get no results, verify that the other information is correct.
If you searched on other values and not the exact card token ID, you'll have to look at all the card tokens returned by the search to identify the one you want. Use more details in the filter to refine your search.
To view card token details
In the search results, click the card token ID. The card token details screen opens.
Scroll down the page to see specific information about the card token such as:
- The token itself
- Cardholder name and other details
- Card status, capabilities and specifics
- Related transactions
What happens next
From the Card Token Tasks menu on the side of the Card Token Details screen click Deactivate Card to deactivate the card token. The command changes to Activate Card.
