## Report description
Using the Cross River Operating System (COS) [ACH APIs](docId\:uV8uw2VzQX5bzghh2A5KP), an account can both originate and receive payments through an ACH Operator. The information required for a payment varies depending on the relevant SEC code and is governed by NACHA Operating Rules and Guidelines. Required information will also vary for domestic or international payments.
ACH files are received daily from both Cross River’s clients (originators) and the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB). The files are automatically imported into Cross River's ACH manager, systematically validated for correctness, and then verified for release to the FRB for via a two-stage process of review with authorization.
You can use this report to reconcile between what you requested from the Cross River Operating System (COS) and what COS actually processed.

The table below provides information for some of the fields within your report. For information on Nacha-specific fields please refer to your copy of the Nacha Operating Rules.

| Id | The unique payment ID in the Cross River system assigned when the payment is sent |
| AccountNumber | COS account number related to the payment |
| ReferenceId | Unique Cross River reference ID for the payment. The reference ID always begins with the first letter of the rail. For ACH the reference ID starts with 'A'. |
| PaymentType | The type of payment, which includes:
* **Origination**: A new payment originating from either Cross River or another bank. Most payments are of this type.
* **Return**: A previous origination that was returned by the receiving bank
* **DishonoredReturn**: A previous return that was dishonored by the receiving bank
* **Correction (Noc)**: A previous origination where the receiving bank accepted the original payment but notifies you of information you should correct next time you send a payment to this receiver. For example, use a different account number. |
| TraceNumber | This corresponds to the NACHA **Trace Number** field and is a unique number assigned to the transaction |
| ServiceType | The type of ACH service:
1) **0 (Standard)**: Payment effective the following day. International payments must use this type.
2) **1 (SameDay)**: Payment effective the same day originated provided it originates before the daily cutoff time. Not available for certain payment scenarios. |
| Status | The status of the payment at the time the report was generated:
* **Created**: Payment received not yet processed. This status appears briefly.
* **Pending**: Payment waiting to be batched and sent to the Fed
* **Hold**: Payment currently on hold for review by Cross River Operations
* **Batched**: Payment batched. Before Cross River sends a batch file to the Fed we do a final review
* **Processing**: For inbound payments, Cross River is trying to post the payment to the receiving account. For outbound payments, the payment has been sent to the Fed, but has not been posted yet. An outbound standard payment may remain in this status for a day or more. Same-day payments transition to Complete soon after processing.
* **Complete**: Payment posted and accepted by the Fקג (in the case of outbound payments). This is a final status.
* **Canceled**: Outbound payment canceled at the partner’s request. You can only cancel a payment with a status of **Pending** or **Hold**. This is a final status.
* **Rejected**: Cross River Operations could not process the payment, so we rejected it. For inbound payments, the payment request is returned to the originating bank. This is a final status. |
| TransactionType | The payment transaction type, which includes:
* **0 (Push)**: Credit payment sent from an originator to a receiver
* **1 (Pull)**: Debit payment taken from a receiver and moved to the originator |

| ClientBatchId | Unique identifier for a batch. Only partners that originate client batches see a value in this column. |
| ClientBatchSequence | Sequence number of the payment in the batch. Only partners that originate client batches see a value in this column. |
| Amount | The transaction amount in integral cents. For example, $1.00 appears as 100. |
| FedBatchId | Fedwire or ACH batch ID used for settlement tracking |
| FedBatchSequence | Sequence number of the payment in the Federal Reserve batch the payment went out or arrived in. |
| Description | Description added by the originator |
| Posting | Status of the related core transaction for the payment. Values include:
\* **Pending**: Transaction is pending posting
\* **Posted**: Transaction has been posted to the account
\* **Failed**: Transaction posting failed
\* **Canceled**: Transaction was canceled
\* **Authorized**: Transaction is authorized but not yet posted
\* **Processing**: Transaction is currently being processed |
| CoreTransactionId | The payment-related core transaction ID |
| ProductId | The product identifier for the account involved in the ACH payment |
| PartnerId | Your unique identification number as a partner in the Cross River system |
| EffectiveDate | Effective entry date in the format YYMMDD |
| Addenda | Payment-related information |
