A book transfer in Cross River involves a debit of one account and a credit of another account, completed as a single atomic operation. A book transfer moves funds between accounts, while also populating a description that includes the 

For the transfer to be considered completed, both sides must be executed.

For example, the debit account has insufficient funds, and the credit operation will not be complete. This mechanism ensures accounts are never out of balance and makes following the movement of funds much easier.

A 32-character hexadecimal string with hyphens, such as 123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426655440000 used as a unique identified. Sometimes called a UUID.

GUID

A solution that allows partners to offer card solutions without requiring a direct relationship with the card networks. The bank acts as an intermediary while allowing partners to use its bank identification numbers (BIN).
